UZG-FER participated in the EC GEP facility training

The CALIPER team at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing of UZG was invited to present the lessons learned from the development of the Faculty’s GEP, in a training session organised by the European Commission, on December 12, 2021.

The online training was a part of the support activities provided to organisations across Europe on complying with the GEP eligibility criterion in Horizon Europe.

The training is targeting the EU Member States and Associated Countries in which there are many organisations concerned by the Horizon Europe eligibility criterion which do not have a GEP in place yet. The training session included presentations on aspects of the design and development of a GEP and the relevant eligibility criterion for Horizon Europe.

The CALIPER team presentation addressed the key lessons from the process of developing the Gender Equality Plan as part of the CALIPER project. The presentation highlighted the CALIPER project, the internal assessment methodology, as well as the contents of the School’s GEP. Finally, the presentation reported on various observations and best practices involving the development of the plan and provided a set of recommendations.
