SRNSFG organises the International Conference “Women in Science”

On November 20, 2021, our partner Shota Rustaveli Georgian National Science Foundation organised the international conference “Women in Science” within the framework of the 2021 Science Festival and the EU Research and Innovation Framework Program “Horizon 2020”. The event was attended by female scientists working in STEM in various higher education institutions and scientific-research institutes in Georgia.

The audience was welcomed by the representatives of the Steering Committee of the project “CALIPER” N. Gachechiladze and I. Khomeriki. The conference was addressed by the Ambassador of France in Georgia Diego Colas and the Director of the French Institute of Georgia Pierre Clue.

Nana Dikhaminjia, Director of the Centre for Technology and Innovation at Ilia State University delivered a speech at the conference “Women in Technology”. The working sessions of the event were led by the Gender Equality Plan Team of the project “CALIPER”, the Head of the Scientific Department of the Rustaveli Foundation Ketevan Gabitashvili, and Chief Specialist Lana Davituliani.
