Presentation at EAI Mobility IoT 2020 Conference
Based on the extensive assessment of their intra-institutional conditions regarding gender balance, consortium members from ECE – NTUA have created a case study of their Institution on how to prepare the groundwork for implementing Gender Equality Plans in a university.
Eleni Kanellou from ECE – NTUA presented this work at the CALIPER workshop, which was organised by MTF – STU BA in the context of EAI Mobility IoT 2020 on Friday, 8 December 2020.
The event, which was held virtually, was dedicated to researchers of the broader spectrum of STEM disciplines and featured keynotes and presentations that elaborated on gender equality topics in the research and innovation in European Institutions.
In her presentation, she described the status of the gender composition of academic positions inside the Institution and presented the actions that have been carried out, as well as the next steps towards a tailored Gender Equality Plan for ECE – NTUA, which is envisioned within CALIPER’s main objectives.
