IRB’s GEP is now approved and published!

Our partner Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB), officially published on its institutional website their recently approved Gender Equality Plan (GEP), which has been developed within the context of the CALIPER project.

This GEP is the outcome of the internal and external assessment that has been conducted during the past months on its Gender Equality status.

The GEP covers 7 vital thematic areas aiming at the promotion of gender equality:

Human resources, Institutional governance, Institutional communication, Research, Young scientists, Gender and sexual harassment, and Collaborative actions.

In this regard, IRB organised different info sessions to disseminate the plan. They organised a series of three events dedicated to the internal staff to raise awareness within the institution for the new GEP. Then, they had another event on November 24th that was dedicated to relevant national and local stakeholders from their Research and Innovation ecosystem. The goal of these events was to further disseminate the plan, and to engage them in IRB’s vital campaign, towards a more gender-equal STEM community.
