CALIPER participates on the social media campaign #BeOpenAboutPay
The European Pillar of Social Rights states that women and men have the right to equal pay for work of equal value. However, there is a persistent gender pay gap in the EU which stands at 14.1%, as a consequence of multiple inequalities women face in access to work, progression & rewards.
On the International Equal Pay Day on the 18th of September, we supported our sister projects’ @SpearProject and @eu_granted campaign and reflected upon the salary transparency by asking our RPO/RFOs to #BeOpenAboutDay and share the existence of relevant policies on pay transparency at a national level.
This day represents the longstanding efforts towards the achievement of equal pay for work of equal value.
